Celebration For The Nations

May 2010

'He (Jesus) must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets' (Acts 3:21).

God is El Shaddai, Almighty God! He speaks and it is so. He purposes in His heart and it is accomplished. He has never changed His mind about
what He wants to do on the earth. Our sin and unbelief has blocked things up for a while, but before Jesus comes back in His glory, the Lord will restore all to His original intention. Celebration for the Nations is one small part of us trying to align ourselves with His purposes. We see His heart for mankind in Eden. The unhindered fellowship between God and man, the Tree of Life, the River, with four headwaters that flowed from Eden. The command to increase and fill the earth. Where ever the Lord has found faith (Noah, Abraham, the 12 disciples etc) He has repeated that command. Jesus told us that as we believed, streams of living water would flow from us. The Lord wants to restore the fullness of the River of Life to His Bride. The four headwaters are available to us. The Lord wants to restore them: Pishon, Gihon, Tigris and Euphrates. These are not insignificant rivers, the two we know of are world class rivers that affect the landscape of nations! There are yet hidden rivers to be revealed and restored in the Bride!

The meaning of the names of these rivers are significant for us. They speak of what the Lord will do through His Bride before His return. In order they mean: increase, bursting forth, rapid, fruitfulness! Amen Lord! Maranatha!

Spring Celebration

The Spring Celebration was held in Swansea at City Temple on 8th May. Since this was the first Spring Celebration, we were unsure of exactly
who and how many would actually come, but friends from Llanelli, Swansea, Cardiff as well as quite a few new people came to worship. Although at the beginning there was a bit of a struggle, eventually there was a break through in the worship. We feel that this Spring Celebration was an active intercession in placing another stake into the ground to enlarge David’s tent of praise. We ask for continued prayer for the joining of local Welsh churches for the main Celebration in the summer.

Celebration Mobile Team

The /Celebration Mobile Team/ continues to be a blessing for all of us! Already they have had opportunities to lead various church meetings and
even be a part of a prison ministry! Starting from this month and on, the team will be visiting many more local churches as well as doing some
travelling. They will be in Ireland (June 2-9) to join the House of Prayer in Belfast, as well as network with various prayer ministries around Ireland. The team will also be in London (June 9-12) to lead church meetings, followed by attending the Global Day of Prayer (June
13). Please pray for all the details that need to be worked out, along with financial provision and safety in travels.

The /Mobile Team /really has become ‘mobile’ in that they have finally purchased two seven-seater vans! Praise the Lord! Also to our great
surprise, the Lord has brought in a new recruitment from Korea. His name is Yong Sun Park. He just arrived from Korea a few days ago, so please pray for smooth transition as he will be new to everything and that he will fit right in with the team.

Michelle’s testimony

Michelle Park participated in the previous Celebrations and so we asked her to share her heart for Celebration. This is her story.

Though it was my first time to be in my father’s home town, I did not feel the strangeness of visiting an unfamiliar place. Instead, it felt
welcoming and familiar. My father used to tell us his childhood stories of raising and being stung by bees, running around with his friends,
greeting his grandmother returning from the market and so on. As a stood in my father’s home town, I felt as if the black outlines of a colourless colouring book was finally being filled with shades of green and blue. My father’s life was being filled with colours inside my heart. My father’s home town was no longer a foreign place to me and in time I could feel my father’s heart as he immersed himself in deeper memories of the past.

Wales is that kind of place - a place where unattended churches have been closed down and converted to bars and furniture stores. Yet, God
the Father is still longingly gazing at that land as He recalls the songs of love sung there hundreds of years ago. Though the pricey goods and the right handed steering wheels still feels unfamiliar to me, the small Welsh town of Llanelli is my home. For this is the place where I learned of God’s longing as He awaits his children to return to Him.

Last month when Gail came to visit America, she again shared about the vision of the sapphire water from three years ago. This brought tears to my eyes. "Yes! This is the Heart of the Father!", I thought. To be honest, three years ago, I had little understanding of the things she spoke of. Are we going to really sing by the well? Is that all we have to do? Sing and the well overflows? And what IS the well?

Now I know that the well is the Father’s heart. And that vision has become reality before me! And I see those who had sung and drank together from those wells now moving out together to the nations! In retrospect, I realize that it was God who led me to the first CFTN in 2007 and 2008. And I know He will continue to bring His worshippers to the well to sing and He will pour out His heart to them--His heart for the lost, nations, and His beloved bride, the Church./

Gail’s travels

Gail was in Korea (23rd April to 5th May). She was able to meet many people with similar visions from the Lord. She was especially encouraged by Pastor Choi (KM Church) who has a prophetic gift for the nations. A few years ago in the Dominican Republic, he felt that there was a disaster coming soon, and they needed to repent and seek the Lord. Thousands responded. The Dominican Republic shares the same landmass as Haiti. The recent horrific earthquake did not pass the border into the Dominican Republic. Recently he had another vision where the land of Wales was like a heap of ashes in a hearth. Then he saw a little spark in the ash and he felt that Celebration for the Nations was that spark (or perhaps a part of it). He told Gail that his intercessors would pray whenever there was a need. They have at least 5 people praying every hour of the day. They are sending an intercessory team to Wales in June, and will join us to pray.

There are many more encouraging stories and if you want more details of her trip, please go to our website at www.celebrationforthenations.org

Gail’s travels are not over yet. She will be in Turkey (14th to 24th May) to attend Celebrate Ephesus. It is organized by UPM and she will be doing some teaching at various meeting. On the Day of Pentecost (23rd May), there will be a large gathering in an amphitheatre. This is the fourth year of Celebrate Ephesus and we feel there is a parallel connection with Celebration for the Nations, as there certainly is a beautiful well to be re-opened in Ephesus as well!

Onward and upward

Revival Korea has created a short DVD to help promote Celebration for the Nations. You can access it on our website (www.celebrationforthenations.org) if you want to use it in your meetings to share about Celebration

The London Celebration will be held in the Emmanuel Centre in Westminster on 1st August. We are hoping for a huge international gathering of worshippers that day, so if you are in the area, please come and join us!

We also ask for continued prayer for all the worship teams. Coming from overseas, we have the Revival Korea team (Seoul, Korea), Andy West’s
team (Nantes, France), and a Korean-American team (Washington, America) led by Joseph Ahn. We also have Cath Woolridge, who is an English and Welsh bilingual worship leader (Cardiff, Wales). Nick and Sharon (Nottingham), Aline and Howie, Suk Kwang (Mobile Team leader) and Gareth from Llanelli will also be leading worship. Praise the Lord for His work in gathering His worshippers! Let us pray that many more will join us this year!

Blessings.
