Celebration for the Nations

"Gather the people together, so that I may give them water." Then Israel sang this song:

"Spring up, O well!—Sing to it!—" (Numbers 21:16-17).

There was a tremendous move of God across the nations at the beginning of the 20th Century. Revivals broke out in Wales(1904), India(1905), America(1906), Korea(1907), China(1908) and many other places in Africa and Asia.

Missionaries began to go out in droves. Churches were full to overflowing, and crime plumeted where God’s Spirit moved.

The enemy’s retaliation was the first ever World War. Twenty million died and similar numbers were wounded, as Christian nations fought each other. Missionary endeavour was hindered greatly, and for many who came through the other side they began to lose their faith.

However, though the purposes of the Lord can be delayed, they can not be thwarted, as the Israelites found out when the next generation went into the Promised Land.

The Lord has spoken to us about redigging the wells our ‘fathers’ dug, by worship and praise particularly. He has called us to sing 'Spring up O well!'

In 2007 we gathered people to Wales from many nations that the Welsh Revival affected. We worshipped together for a week, and the Lord led people into intercession and into going out as missionaries. He healed and He saved people, but no revival broke out.

We continued in Wales for seven years as the Lord led us, meeting each year together to join in this worship intercession. We since have been to Korea, Israel, Japan, and there are little ‘Celebration Springs’ in different places.

A team emerged out of this vision called ‘The Celebration Mobile Team’. They spend most mornings in prayer, worship and Bible study, and then often take the worship out to the streets in the afternoon and share the Gospel with people. They travel out to different nations as the Lord leads them.

Celebration for the Nations is not just a yearly gathering, but a community of worshippers from across the denominations and nations who are crying out for a fresh move of the Holy Spirit.

Nations does not own this work, it has its home in many hearts and especially among Koreans. There are regular meetings in Korea and Wales to worship and pray.
