History

Nations was founded in 1993 within an international mission, World Horizons . A small team was separated out in 1997 to give themselves to helping nurture new mission movements.

We felt it would be better to operate separately, so that young mission movements were not overwhelmed by a large multinational mission. So far we have been able to support the founding and nurturing of more than 10 new movements, from Africa, the Middle East and Asia, some of which are flourishing and no longer need us.

We are now a sister movement to World Horizons and a separate work legally and practically.
