Celebration Update October 2014
Dear worship leaders and worshippers,
Greetings from Llanelli, South Wales. I want to put a few thoughts on paper just to keep in touch with you all and encourage us in our calling to worship the Lord.
We believe that our primary call is to worship the Lord; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. As we worship, our hearts are changed by His unchanging Presence and we become more aware of His desires and purposes.
We work as a community of nations, and our goal is to offer our bodies continually as living sacrifices, being willing to go wherever He leads and do whatever He says.
Singing is just an outward expression of this worship, yet it is also a powerful weapon and a pleasing sacrifice when it is done with our whole hearts.
We are called to continue to unblock the spiritual 'wells' that our fathers have dug and see new wells of salvation and revival spring up in our generation. Thus we are in, what I call, a 'worship intercession'. Worship calls forth intercession as we touch the heart of God.
A Worship Intercession
Intercession is more than prayer. When we carry an intercession, we share a small part of the heart of Jesus. He asks if He can express His love through us. As we respond to Him in the intercession He gives us, it changes our lives, and leads our actions. Love is more than words, it is power; the greatest power in the Universe. Jesus' intercession led Him to the Cross, and through the Cross to the Throne. We follow Him to the Cross, and from the Cross into a place of authority seated with Him in the heavenly realms.
Intercession can be painful, as our hearts break with His for this suffering world. That is why we must go back continually into worship, fixing our eyes on Him, seeing our wonderful Lamb seated on the Throne.
Intercession is love in action. Love expressed will lead others to see the true Lover and to worship Him also.
10-15 August 2015
We continue in Korea worshipping in the 70th year since the land was divided. Will God have mercy on Korea as He did on Israel, restoring her in her 70th year of trial?
Summer 2016 Israel
Here we are going back to the oldest 'well' of all, and the place to which Jesus will return.
How important it is in these times to 'pray for the peace of Jerusalem'.
I believe that we need to bless both of Abraham's sons as God Himself does; Isaac the child of promise and the well digger, and Ishmael whose very name means 'God will hear'!
In God's love,
Gail
