Celebration for the Nations Update March 2011

The Army of the Lamb
Turmoil in the nations is growing. We should not be surprised by this. As the body of Christ, we are called to pray for the Kingdom of God to come on earth as it is in heaven. The Lord says;

I will shake all nations, and the desired of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory (Haggai 2:7).

The time of shaking, of suffering, of wars and earthquakes, is also the time when Jesus, the Desired of all Nations will come. It is the time when the house of God, his people, will be filled with his glory.

There is a great battle in the spiritual realms, because the time is short. Jesus himself prophesies the suffering of his people in the end times.
Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me (Matthew 24:9).

Glory and suffering go together in this broken world of ours. The Lord wants to prepare his people for what is to come.
In the end, the battle will be between those who worship the Beast, and those who worship the Lamb. We become like the one we worship.

They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings — and with him will be his called, chosen
and faithful followers (Revelation 17:14).

Will we be part of that glorious army of the Lamb? Will we believe that the Lamb is stronger than the Beast, no matter what it looks like, and what the ways of this world tell us?

Will we give ourselves to worshipping the Lamb? The more we see him, the more we will be like him. His way is the way of LOVE. It is the way of sacrifice and death.
Are we prepared for the times that we are now living in? Let us decide to be so by giving ourselves again to the precious Lamb of God, and determining to follow his ways.

As we meet together this summer, let us do so as the army of the Lamb. The army that will conquer with the weapons of love and faithfulness. An army so devoted to its leader that it will embrace being poor in spirit, it will thirst for righteousness and justice, it will show mercy, and mourn with those who suffer. An army that works for peace in the midst of chaos, and in meekness and purity worships the Lamb.

Gail’s time in Korea
Gail was in Korea in February and really enjoyed meeting up with so many friends and family in God. She has written a report, and if you have not received a copy and would like to, do ask.
Drill Hall
We have now been told that there is absolutely no chance of us being able to hire this wonderful facility owned by the British Army, which means that many people will be back to sleeping on church floors unless we can discover something else. We are so sorry about this but will keep looking.

St Elli
Nations are looking to buy a 20-bedroom Nursing Home called St Elli for teams that come and train with us. At the moment someone has bid higher than we have. Please pray with us that the vendor comes back to us, as we feel that the Lord has need of this facility. Please ask if you would like more information.

2011 Celebration Mobile Team
The team arrived a couple of weeks ago, and are already bringing blessing in Wales as well as preparing for the Celebration with their prayer and worship. Pastor Suk Kwang Jang, the leader, believes that the strong link between Wales and Korea will, in time, express itself in Welsh young people blessing North Korea too.

North Korea is going through its own shaking at the moment, with Kim Jong il reportedly taking bullets away from his Army, and surrounding himself with tanks. The events of the Middle East have a long reach.
6-16th May the team will be in Ireland, joining with prayer teams and worshippers there. Ireland and Wales have the same Celtic background, with a rich history of Christianity. Let’s sing to the ancient wells so that they spring up again in our time!
There is an open invitation for Korean intercessors to join with a prayer house in

Belfast. Contact us for more information.

Pisgah
Pisgah is the place from which Moses saw the Promised Land. After the people sang to the well in Numbers 21, they also passed through Pisgah. A small chapel of that name was started by the Revivalist, Evan Roberts in Loughor. The land was given to him, and he paid for the building by years of saving from his miner’s wages. He opened it specifically for the young people in the area, and later also used it to train those going into ministry. The second meeting of the Welsh Revival, on November 1st 1904, took place there.

Recently the chapel was closed. However, Andy Morris, who found the Lord in a fresh way (particularly regarding intercession) in the 2007 Celebration, felt a prompting to pursue reopening this old well in the 2010 Celebration. He has obtained permission to use the place, and is holding weekly intercession and worship meetings at 7pm every Saturday. If you are in the area, you would be very welcome. We hope to have a team from this year’s Celebration to go and worship there. Spring up O well! http://pisgahhopwales.co.uk

Evangelistic Placements
This year, as well as sending teams to churches in Wales and England, we feel that the Lord is encouraging us to take the Celebration out into more nations. Last year we had a team in Turkey, and we hope to have another one this year. We also have a strong invitation to send a team to Ireland. As well as this there are possibilities of teams going to Israel and North Africa. If you are interested in joining a team to one of these places following the Celebration i.e. from 2nd August, please get in contact with Revival Korea (if you are based in Korea) or Nations (i.e. this email) if you are based anywhere else.

Spring Celebration
This year we will be worshipping the Lord and asking for his purposes to be fulfilled for Wales from its capital city, Cardiff. Join us if you can on Friday 20th May 7pm at The Gate, Keppoch Street, Roath, Cardiff, CF24 3JW. Welsh and Korean worship leaders will join together in what we believe will be a prophetic evening.

Can you sense how everything is speeding up in the world? May we keep in the place of rest in his arms. It is a place of love and power. It is a place where in His time things will happen very quickly.

Yours for the Celebration Team Gail
